The Circus Maximus

To borrow Dr. Heyn’s words from my Roman Archaeology class at UNCG, the Circus Maximus was the NASCAR track of Ancient Rome.  Here you can see the its modern shambles…it is used today as a footpath much like one might find in a public park area.
