
I think I've seen more pigeons in Rome than any other city I've been in.

The acronym for "Senatus Populusque Romanus" or "The Senate and the Roman People." An ancient acronym that is still very much in use in modern Rome. You see it everywhere.

We might have these in the States, I'm not sure, but this is our coffemaker wherein we make the espresso we drink everymorning in shot glasses because it's so strong.

If you come to Rome, you'll have to get used to walking on this stuff! It can be challenging at times not to twist your ankle.

I'm guessing that motor scooters outmatch all other forms of transportation combined in Rome.

I know I saw a car this size my first time in Salisbury, NC so I'm sure they're all over the States, but they are superabundant in Rome.

The paper is both taller, and thinner.

You see these constantly flowing fountains everywhere. I've heard the waters that come out of them are supposed to be as pristine as the waters of Eden.
